About the Opportunity:

Our client has recently restructured their field team which has enhanced their national reach. Due to this growth, they are now looking for a Field Activation Manager to lead a third-party field-team in their grocery channel.

This role will have the following core responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the Retail Execution Plan, ensuring it is up to date on a rolling 3-month cycle
  • Supporting the customer team, ensure deadlines are met for activity briefs and be 6-8 weeks in advance of activity execution
  • Proactive approach to system tasks, surveys and activity briefs to send to the 3rd party
  • Building internal processes and finessing processes currently in place, reviewing efficiency and effectiveness and continuously making recommendations for development
  • Focus on field-team performance as an active participant in the Field Leadership Team, leading training sessions as required
  • Manage field-team KPIs, providing appropriate training tools, trackers and targets
  • Work cross functionally across different categories, providing insights from a field perspective across the business

What we are looking for:

  • Experience managing a field-team or more broadly managing a team in a relevant marketing, category or sales role in FMCG
  • Understanding of the operation of third party teams
  • Operational experience with a mind for process and procedure
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Expert oral and written communication skills
