About the role

This role is responsible for leading Food Safety and Quality Assurance for their food and beverage operations throughout Australia. Food Safety must be uncompromising, while understanding commercial and customer realities, balancing local needs with global processes, programs and company requirements, and engaging the broader business in the food agenda. Key to this role will be ensuring FSQ for a big list of new poroduct introductions, the onboarding and assurance of new suppliers, and working in partnership with those suppliers, particularly small medium enterprises, to reach high expectations.

About you

This role is approximately equivalent to the level of a Site QA Manager from a food and beverage manufacturing background. Youe skill set will include:

  • Relevant tertiary degree (food science and technology or similar)
  • QA background in food and beverage manufacturing, or as a customer working in vendor assurance roles managing food and beverage suppliers
  • Strong understanding of both product and manufacturing
  • Uncompromsing in FSQ while balancing commercial and consumer realities
  • Ablity to work in a large matix organisational structure
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills - vendors, non-food business leaders, cross-functional disciplines
