With a number of distinct brands under their umbrella, this business works closely with franchise operators to deliver an outstanding and consistent customer experience across its Asia Pacific network.
About the role
As a key member of the Asia-Pac Division's leadership team, you will be responsible for developing the market strategy and value proposition to drive acquisition of new customers. With a multi-million dollar budget under your management you will ensure a first-class customer experience that drives brand awareness and generates new customer leads, with a clear focus on direct business acquisition.
You will have full accountability for the development, delivery and optimisation of the marketing strategy and activity. Additionally, you will play the lead role in driving best practice customer utilisation strategies across the whole marketing unit as a subject matter expert.
An experienced marketing professional, you have a high level of sophistication in managing customer lifecycle. You are best known for your analytical approach to marketing, but equally, you have a well developed commercial acumen, innovative thinking and strong stakeholder engagement capability. Building an energetic, results orientated team has bought you success in the past and you are keen to take your career to the next level with a business that rewards hard work and high performance.
This role would suit a leader who has delivered successes through strong relationships within complex / matrix environments. With outstanding stakeholder management and team leadership experience, the GM will manage a team of 8. Working alongside franchise operators, they will be highly visible in seeking open communication, building buy-in and trust.
Domestic and international travel will be required.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience across the digital landscape, ideally a background across the hospitality / retail / franchise sectors. Your understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing is solid, but ideally you also have multi channel experience and you love working with online analytics to drive strategic outcomes. Degree qualified, you are passionate about e-commerce, you are a proven leader who can demonstrate success in working across broader teams. Bringing with you extensive stakeholder management experience, you will be able to secure buy-in from the senior leadership team, work effectively with global counterparts, engage agency partners and lead a growing team. You are driven and charismatic, highly commercial, and looking for an exciting and fast paced environment to showcase your ability.
