About the role
As part of the on-going business evolution, they are now looking to appoint a General Manager of Sales to bring a strategic customer and channel focus to the on-going development of the business. This is a newly created role designed to bring discipline to the product and customer strategy and drive growth through maximising profitability and commercial business outcomes.
This person will be the relationship manager across the full product cycle from production and innovation to the management of distribution partners and ensuring the maximised brand exposure at end consumer level. This role will take a seat on the executive leadership team and will play a pivotal role in developing and guiding the strategy of the business into the next phase.
This position will require an individual that brings broad customer and commercial experience to the table. It will also be essential that the individual is able to effectively align with the agricultural farming nature of the business influencing all key stakeholders and delivering outcomes that align the mission and ethos of the business. A mix of diverse channel management is required across both retail and foodservice customers along with a high touch, consultative approach in building long term customer partnerships. Experience in the meat industry will be highly regarded.
