About the role
As General Manager Supply Chain you will be responsible for the inbound and outbound logistics functions, which incorporates transport, warehousing and customer fulfilment. Success will be measured by your ability to effectively collaborate across multiple business functions, and through the development and execution of logistics strategies that improve service to customer.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide leadership and develop and execute strategy across all logistics functions
* Collaborate with each internal function and ensure an effective supply chain service is delivered
* Identify synergies and opportunities to drive sustained improvements across an evolving network
* Coordinate the integration of activities that will deliver against service level and performance goals
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be a proven executive level logistics leader who has worked in large scale businesses and can demonstrate knowledge and competence across the broader supply chain. It is also expected that applicants will have strengths in collaboration, commercial management, and people leadership. This is a unique opportunity to join a high profile business that can provide further growth beyond the existing remit of the current role.
