The business is now looking to appoint a Global Head of Communications, to support the CEO and the broader business globally on their next phase of growth. Very rarely does an opportunity like this come to market in the world of communications, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilise their depth of expertise in the world of Communications to drive growth in emerging markets and reach those that need support the most across the globe.
In this role, you will build on solid foundations to shape the iconic LeapFrog brand in key countries, helping attract investors, investment opportunities and top tier talent. Reporting directly to the founder and CEO, both of you based in Sydney, you will lead story-telling for the firm and its purpose-driven portfolio of businesses. You will deepen the narrative and expand awareness of the LeapFrog team's work as pioneers of Profit with Purpose, and as leaders in both impact investing and private equity in emerging markets. You will find creative and sustained ways to break through the noise via peak media coverage, events, awards, campaigns and above all thought leadership. The organisation has successfully completed a rebrand and delivered on a strategy to drive the organisation towards a digital first content approach. Now the focus of the role will move into building on this foundation, developing and delivering a global emerging market content strategy and ultimately shaping a small team to support as the business grows.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity and as such requires a truly unique individual to achieve success. Bringing a proven track record across the full suite of communications specialisations, you will be able to talk to your experiences in driving growth through communications ideally on a global scale. You will be degree qualified in a Communications, Journalism, or a related field and although your sector background could be varied, you will be able to demonstrate an empathy for and affinity to the investment landscape, social impact, and the idea of driving profit for purpose. You will be a high energy, results driven operator with an entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset and will be happy operating autonomously as well as in a small team dynamic. Although based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs you will be required to travel internationally (when safe to do so) as well as attend virtual meetings across different time zones. You will be comfortable working flexibly to accommodate for this.
