With a long history and a well-established supply chain to support their stores, the business is about to embark on a transformation journey to optimise the logistics function.

About the role
Reporting to the Group CEO, the GM Logistics will be responsible for international and domestic logistics, including a large scale D.C in the western suburbs, where the role will be primarily based from. Core to the will be:
* Lead a team of passionate individuals who have an appetite for change and are excited about the next phase of transformation
* Through a detailed focus, establish performance metrics and reset where required to enhance daily output
* Managed P&L effectively and deliver improvements across safety, service and cost
* Embarking on a change journey, with a strong CI focus, and contributing to strategy that will affect the future state of the network

Skills & Experience
A proven senior logistics leader, with some exposure to the Retail or Consumer Goods sectors, you will have had accountability for a national logistics network in a fast paced environment. International logistics exposure is essential along with experience implementing performance metrics and direct P&L management that has delivered against cost savings targets. A methodical approach and a CI mindset is best suited, along with a strengths in collaboration and driving culture change across a medium to large scale site.
