Following further structural changes at an executive level, a commercial leadership role has become available to lead the Australian consumer marketing division. This newly aligned role will be charged with providing new-found energy around category leadership and marketing excellence with a combined focus on leadership and cross functional relationship optimisation.
About the Role
In this role, you will drive the creation and the delivery of a consumer first brand and marketing strategy in line with broader business growth aspirations.
You will play a major role driving the thinking and execution of locally led innovation as well as brand strategy development through the setting of long-term objectives for the brand's portfolio. You will guide a high performing team to deliver the marketing strategy, development of assets and innovation to be launched both locally and internationally.
This role will see you support the achievement of global growth aspirations for the business through strengthening brand position, value and presence both locally and internationally and driving blue sky innovation within a growing category, to be launched to market globally. As an integral member of the senior leadership team, it will also be your role to instil a strong collaborative team culture, developing your team through constructive coaching and decisive, energetic leadership.
- Development of brand strategy across the total product portfolio
- Delivery against key performance targets including GSV, profit, market share and brand health measures
- Managing the development and execution of marketing plans to meet business strategy including research, product development, above and below the line communication
- Development of innovation pipeline and NPD delivery
- Communication and liaison with global teams for local and international brand strategy
- Leadership of the Australian marketing team
Skills and Experience
To be successful you must have significant experience in a senior marketing leadership position within an FMCG / manufacturing environment. You will have experience working with a brand with a strong focus on delivering growth in China and other international markets, giving you a through understanding of the China consumer.
Tertiary qualified, you will demonstrate a credible, long-term track history of marketing success within the Australian grocery and consumer goods sector, ideally those of a premium nature or within a high consideration category. You will be a highly commercial, detail oriented, analytical marketer with strong budget management experience.
You will be an empowering, engaging and motivational leader who is able to build and maintain a strong collaborative, dynamic team culture.
