The Program

Our Graduate Program provides the opportunity for talented individuals to embark on an exciting career in recruitment. The program provides best-practice training to develop core recruitment skills through a challenging, hands-on role. With a mix of on-the-job learning and development, the program provides scope for uncovering new skills and interests whilst commencing on a rewarding career pathway.

The 12-month program offers rotations across different business units providing exposure to multiple disciplines, industries, clients, assignments and management styles.

  • You learn how to communicate with people, as recruitment is all about people. At Six Degrees, you will work with a diverse range of candidates, clients and colleagues across different industries and sectors, spending a large part of your day communicating on the phone or in person.
  • You learn how to problem solve. Dealing with people can be challenging and unpredictable, and in recruitment you will be faced with lots of unexpected situations and unforeseen issues!
  • You develop essential selling skills. Recruitment is a sales job - you are selling to both candidates and clients all day, every day. Selling is a fundamental skill in business; almost every profession requires you to be able to sell successfully, whether it is your company's services/products or simply your own ideas or point of view.
