This company is one of the market leaders in Australia's raw health food industry with core capabilities across horticulture, orchard management and processing. They cater to industrial and retail markets locally and export worldwide from their multiple sites in Australia. After another excellent year of growth, they are looking to further their quality capabilities with a Group QA Manager.

About the role

Based primarily in the Northern Suburbs you will be responsible for all aspects of the Quality function, from food safety and systems, the QA production process, internal and external audits, leading and mentoring staff (including a team of 10 across both sites). You will drive a Quality and Safety culture across both sides and have maintain the Quality budget whilst strategically allocate where necessary. Your exceptional stakeholder engagement will be utilised in educating all on best quality practices.

Skills & Experiences

This is an exciting and integral role within the business and your experience and skill set will include the following:

  • Tertiary qualified in Food Science or equivalent
  • Vast experience working in a food environment, health and raw foods would be advantageous
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and validations along with a strong understanding of the commercial impacts of quality assurance
  • Impeccable communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate and negotiate with all internal and external stakeholders
