About the Role
First things first. This role is NOT for you if you're looking for a "business as usual" / maintenance type marketing role. This newly created role is responsible for embedding a strategy to deliver against the business' core objectives of driving new (cold) leads into the sales funnel in a cost effective and creative way. As a blended senior role, reporting into the National Retail Manager, the successful candidate must have a track record in leveraging both their sales and marketing experience to deliver an end-to-end solution. This role will focus on delivering innovative lead acquisition programs, building out the lead nurture processes (across multiple channels), embedding a consumer insights framework to inform go-to-market strategies, and supporting an outbound focused sales team. Initially acting as a sole contributor, the view is that this role will manage a small team to support in the execution of the strategy.
You will have a proven track record of delivering a lead acquisition marketing strategy within a fast paced growth environment. With the core focus being on driving new leads, you will be heavily entrenched in the data to understand potential opportunities and utilise these insights to develop new campaigns. You have the ability to deliver strategies to drive increased online brand presence, leverage lead nurture programs with the existing CRM and deliver an aligned end-to-end sales strategy and execution.
You are a degree qualified, entrepreneurial and creative senior marketer with experience across lead generation and lifecycle management. You can demonstrate your resourcefulness in delivering commercial outcomes in challenging, potentially resource-lean environments. With deep experience in launching new acquisition activities to market, you have a wealth of examples in creating winning campaigns to drive customers further into the sales funnel. You are creative, driven and charismatic, highly commercial, and looking for an exciting and fast paced environment to showcase your ability. You will thrive in an agile environment, are self driven and are a natural born leader and mentor.
