The role

The Head of Corporate Partnerships, Events and Community is a crucial role in the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications structure. Reporting to the General Manager of this portfolio, this is a key leadership role with scope to build out community and corporate partnerships for this national organisation. The sky is the limit! The role requires a highly strategic, yet hands on senior professional who has the energy and motivation to build the portfolio from the ground up. You will have strategic and operational responsibility for the annual Carols by Candlelight event in addition to developing and delivering a new corporate partnerships framework. A key area of growth is also the peer to peer community fundraising portfolio.

Managing a small, talented and enthusiastic team, we are seeking someone who can lead by example, bring a fresh and expansive approach and engage at all levels from the board room of a corporate partner to community fundraising and event supporters/volunteers.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering community fundraising strategies

  • Proven track record of securing high net worth corporate partnerships

  • A strategic mindset to identify opportunities to grow fundraising income

  • People leadership experience with growth and team development at the forefront

  • Strong stakeholder and communications skills

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Experience conceptualising and delivering peer to peer and digital fundraising

  • Event management experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, sales or fundraising
