About the role
Reporting into GM Engineering, this newly created role is a highly visible and impactful role which will be instrumental in shaping how the business continues to build solutions to support customers' changing needs. You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality software into production that customers love, growing the capabilities and potential of your teams for the future, and working closely with the Head of Product to deliver enhancements and changes to specific product line/s and market segment(s) against a well-defined future vision. You will be responsible for the delivery of a multi-layered product roadmap, focusing on the "how", undertaking cost/benefit analysis as required and leveraging your commercial nous to develop strategies to further improve the product offering.

About You
You are a degree qualified software engineer by trade, who has extensive experience in product development. Ideally, you have experience in financial services / payments and have managed large, high performing teams in complex environments. You have a proven track record in managing relationships with vendors at a senior level, and are effective in internal stakeholder management across a matrix organisation. You will be laser focused in measuring performance, are comfortable managing through ambiguity and can managing competing priorities effectively. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and love being part of a high performing team.
