Our client is a leading, multi category consumer goods business with a rich history of offering lifestyle products to consumers throughout the world. Operating in 180 countries worldwide, they employ around 400 people in Australia and are known for their high performance yet people first culture. As a result of an exciting digital transformation project being pioneered locally in Australia, the business is investing heavily in Digital and eCommerce talent and as such is looking for an accomplished senior professional to join the team.

The Role

As Head of Digital Sales your role will be to drive business delivery through all digital channels, including sales and revenue through the existing wholesale trading platform as well as general eCommerce strategy and revenue opportunity through future trading platforms that will launch in the next 12 months. As part of this you will own the online budget with the focus to drive sales performance and profitability, customer experience and ROI of technology and digital investments. With overall management of a team of around 20 people, which you will help to build, you will oversee all aspects from loyalty strategy, traffic and conversation rates, through to UX and Customer experience strategy, SEO, SEM, visitor engagement, analytics, reporting and CRM Management.

About You

To be successful in this exciting new role you will have a proven track record at a leadership level in a Digital or eCommerce role, where you will have been involved in either launching capability or significantly amplifying performance. Ideally you will have spent time in a service based organisation and will be comfortable developing and executing customer experience plans and initiatives. You will thrive in highly commercial, fast paced environments where, despite their complexity, decisions are made quickly and you will be confident enough to fit into this. With a high performance mentality and innovative entrepreneurial flair, you will also be able to build meaningful relationships at both a local and regional level, influencing and bringing people on a journey to achieve continued success.
