About the role
As Head of Enterprise Payments you will be responsible for creating and delivering the commercial strategy targeting growth customer portfolio in the enterprise market. You will be responsible for leading, growing and inspiring a national team to achieve annual sales targets such as new logo acquisition, retention, and will effectively engage and influence internal stakeholders such as Head of Product to drive innovation and expand the offering to the existing customer portfolio. Leading from the front, you will also build and maintain senior relationships with the largest customers.
The role has 4 teams including acquisition, retention, technical and commercial, the key focus on enterprise payments, ie gateway services and fully integrated cloud based solutions. It's essential to have the relevant enterprise sales leadership experience along with the required technical knowledge of corporate payments. You will be a leader of leaders who can inspire, motivate and build a high performance culture.
You are a modern thinking, customer centric sales leader that has led a large national team within the card payments, mobile payments, eCommerce or financial services sectors. You also have:
- Effectively lead a sales team through transformation in the business or industry that you work in
- Deep knowledge of financial services payments & transactions
- Technical acumen, ERP integration experience
- A proven track record of owning and delivering a sales strategy end to end
- Significant experience working in complex environments as a sales leader
- Managed and achieved commercial revenue targets
- Proven success leading and developing sales teams
