This ASX listed small cap life sciences business is developing and commercialising innovative, evidence-based products in the consumer health sector. Oversubscribed in their last investment round, the organisation is building a pipeline of evidence-based, over-the-counter (OTC) health products, through in-house development and in-licencing and distribution opportunities.
They play in a space that is traditionally dominated by over-the-counter solutions (vitamins), but with their research and technology, there could be game changing solutions solving common health issues for consumers, which they could commercialise in the market.
Reporting to the CEO, the key focus of this role will be multi-faceted, in the sense of developing strategic investor relations strategies to build capital market support and shareholder value, as well as create a consumer marketing and communications story. This will involve creating a brand, building a social following, driving social media, online, PR and newsworthy stories to educate the market and consumers on their evidence-based research and findings.
The ideal background
You will be experienced in the OTC / pharmacy / consumer health sector ideally with marketing / communications experience - building a following of influencers in the market and driving the right messages to build brand awareness. Experience working in-house in an investor relations (IR) role, within capital markets in an ASX listed business would also be looked upon favourably.
Attractive package (circa $200,000), flexible working environment (could be Sydney or Melbourne based) and the potential for an LTI of options (stock) plus attractive STI. As a small cap stock, and with the potential for commercialisation, the value of the stock options in the future could be significant.
This is a Melbourne based HQ, but the role could be based in Sydney or Queensland.
