About the role

Located in Melbourne, we are looking for a Head of Marketing to join the team and work closely with the APAC Regional team and Global Marketing team. This appointment is business critical and will take a lead role in shaping the future growth trajectory of the Australian and New Zealand markets. Strategic Marketing is regarded as an essential building block to your success, so it is imperative that the appointed candidate can bridge the gap between setting a clear vision and plan and executing multichannel campaigns that resonate with customers and drive trial and product engagement and customer lifetime value. You will also be responsible for reporting on key channel metrics and campaigns whilst identifying opportunities to continue to evolve and drive awareness and conversion. This is role works with key stakeholders across the globe and imperative to your success will be your ability to lead and mentor your team, build collaborative relationships within a highly complex matrix environment and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and define annual, integrated marketing plans to drive brand awareness, consideration and conversion
  • Increase lifetime value and retention with existing customer and develop highly targeted campaigns
  • Driving engagement with existing & prospect customers through education, and content
  • Analyse findings from activities / channels & translate into recommendations and new actionable campaigns
  • Liaise with the sales team on AUNZ marketing activities to drive conversion
  • Lead and develop the Marketing team
  • Build effective relationships with key Global and Regional stakeholders
  • Develop a strong understanding of the customer & competitive landscape

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualified in a business-related discipline
  • A track record in developing a compelling brand, marketing, and customer propositions in a fast paced data-centric business
  • Innovative and digitally savvy Marketer ideally with experience in building integrated digital and one to one communication strategies
  • Proven experience in a global or matrix environment and collaborative team player
  • Proven experience in delivering positive commercial outcomes and driving lifetime customer value
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage and articulate a clear vision across a business
  • Strong customer, competitor, and market insight focus
  • Background ideally within FinTech, Services or highly regulated industries
