About the Role
As the Head of Marketing, this newly created role is responsible for embedding a robust market strategy while having a laser-like focus on commercial returns. You will lead and develop the strategic go-to-market activity across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale for the ANZ market. Aside from being a technically sound marketer, you will also be effective in delivering a cultural shift across all levels of the business to introduce best in class marketing innovation, and an unparalleled level of transparency. You will set in place the strong foundations of a marketing strategy which capitalize on the existing assets of the business while looking for new ways to improve the customer experience and offering. This role will lead the strategic delivery and execution of a refreshed brand architecture and will act as the ongoing brand custodian. The role manages a growing team of 12+ direct reports and reports directly into the CCO.
You are a degree qualified, a savvy senior marketing leader with 10+ years' experience in strategically focused marketing roles. You have a creative eye, you enjoy following consumer trends, and know how to commercialize these for the consumer. With deep experience in launching go-to-market plans and developing new propositions, you have multi-channel experience and love utilizing customer insights to drive strategic outcomes. You have strong stakeholder management skills - you are at ease working with cross functional teams such as ecommerce and product.
- Prior leadership management of integrated teams
- Experience in managing multi-million-dollar campaigns and activations
- Has operated across D2C, wholesale and retail (own stores)
- Proven examples of delivering growth and commercial outcomes within organizations
- Expert in delivering TTL GTM strategies (omni-channel)
- Background in managing big brands across retail, fashion, beauty, or consumer products
- Has operated within a fast-paced environment
- Personal connect to lifestyle, outdoors, street, fashion, and culture.
