Our client is a market leading manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of products within the architectural fittings sector. They are part of a large global group employing over 4,500 staff, with a strong foothold across European markets. They are trusted within the industry as a premium, reliable brand across the commercial sector with a mindset of "local solutions, global perspective." The business operates a state of the art facility in Melbourne's northern suburbs which delivers over 65% of onshore manufacturing requirements, with a significant portion being custom orders. The business is currently undergoing a cultural renaissance internally, and preparing for a new phase of growth.

About the Role
As the Head of Marketing, this newly created role is responsible for embedding a robust market strategy while having a laser-like focus on commercial returns. You will lead and develop the strategic go-to-market activity to deliver growth across a number of complex key category segments. You will set in place the strong foundations of a marketing strategy which capitalizes on the existing assets of the business while looking for new ways to improve the customer experience and offering. This role will focus on assessing new strategic growth opportunities, embedding a consumer insights framework to inform NPD and go-to-market strategies, developing marketing programs to support a long and complex sales cycle with numerous stakeholders, and being the key brand custodian solidifying it within the market. The role manages a growing team of 7+ direct reports, and reports directly into the Managing Director.

About You
You are a degree qualified, digitally savvy senior marketing leader with 10+ years experience in strategically focused marketing roles. Although open to your industry background, experience with architectural fittings, interior products or hardware would be highly advantageous. Key to the success in this role is your track record category management environments, with clear "ways to win" set and executed upon. With deep experience in launching go-to-market plans and developing new propositions, you have multi-channel experience and love utilising customer insights to drive strategic outcomes. You have strong stakeholder management skills - you are at ease working with a range of stakeholders, be customers, technical product managers, internal Sales teams, wholesaler networks, or external agencies. You are nimble, driven and charismatic, highly commercial, and looking for an fast high pressure environment to showcase your ability. You will thrive in a transforming environment, are comfortable with change and are a natural born leader.
