The business operates a manufacturing plant (including an R&D Centre) in Victoria, as well as a strong manufacturing presence in South East Asia.
About the Role
As the Head of Marketing - Asia Pacific, this newly created role is responsible for embedding a robust market strategy while having a laser-like focus on commercial returns. You will lead and develop the strategic go-to-market activity to deliver growth across trade, retail and potentially direct channels. This role's remit includes Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Aside from being a technically sound marketer, you will also be effective in delivering a cultural shift across all levels of the business to introduce best in class marketing innovation, and an unparalleled level of transparency. You will set in place the strong foundations of a marketing strategy which capitalize on the existing assets of the business while looking for new ways to improve the customer experience and offering. Given the internal appetite for disruption and innovation, this role is at the cornerstone of embedding a framework to support in the delivery of new solutions to market, and will be pivotal in setting up the business for the next phase of growth. The role manages a growing team, including that of Product Management and reports directly into the CEO.
You are a degree qualified, digitally savvy senior marketing leader with 10+ years experience in strategically focused marketing roles. Although open to your industry background, experience with manufacturing / engineering / automotive related businesses would be highly advantageous. With deep experience in launching go-to-market plans and developing new propositions, you have multi-channel experience (trade, retail, online) and love utilising customer insights to drive strategic outcomes. You have strong stakeholder management skills - you are at ease presenting to senior executives or regional counterparts, as you are with engaging with an external agency, or managing a high potential team to deliver. Experience in Salesforce preferred. You are nimble, driven and charismatic, highly commercial, and looking for an exciting and fast paced environment to showcase your ability. You will thrive in a transforming environment, are comfortable with change and are a natural born leader.
