About the Role
First things first. This role is NOT for you if you're looking for a "business as usual" / maintenance type marketing role. Our client is looking for a strategic marketer with outstanding digital experience, who is just as comfortable setting the annual master strategy as they are in getting on the tools. You will have full accountability for the development, delivery and optimisation of the marketing acquisition strategy and activity across all channels. With the core focus being on driving new sales, you will be heavily entrenched in the data to understand potential opportunities and utilise these insights to develop new campaigns. This role is highly visible and will need a best in class stakeholder manager to influence discussions and strategies at the highest levels across the business. You will be challenged in this role, and be expected to challenge others. Working in a fast paced environment, this business has rigour around how performance is measured on an ongoing basis. Building out and managing a small team, you will have a proven track record as an outstanding people leader and mentor, and be technically sound in order to further develop this team professionally.
Skills and Experience
You are a degree qualified, digitally savvy senior marketer with experience across the technology landscape. Experience in a free-trial product environment would be highly advantageous. Ideally, you do not have a "typically corporate" background and can demonstrate your resourcefulness in delivering commercial outcomes in challenging scenarios. With deep experience in launching new acquisition activities to market, you have a wealth of examples in creating winning campaigns to drive customers further into the sales funnel. You are driven and charismatic, highly commercial, and looking for an exciting and fast paced environment to showcase your ability. You will thrive in an agile environment, are self driven and are a natural born leader and mentor.
