This innovative regional business, Australian owned and operated is on an exciting growth curve. Servicing both the B2B and B2C markets with over 30 years expertise in this industry, the business has been supplying ingredient and finished food products to both the manufacturing and consumer markets. Having recently invested in production capability and excellence, the business is poised to leverage commercial partnerships to drive significant growth in its retail and wholesale consumer offering. With a strong presence across both corporate and the independent retail space the scope is significant to build the private label product solutions offering and the branded business opportunity. Given the focus on driving scale in this division, a newly created role is available leading the commercial customer and field team that services this channel to market. This is a highly complex customer and team leadership position suited to an FMCG sales leader that has a broad capability in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for future growth in a scaling business environment.

About the role

As this is a pivotal time in the business evolution, this role will be extremely hands on across the corporate, independent and speciality channel in presenting product solutions in line with market trends and opportunities. It will be your responsibility to own and drive concepts that translate to commercial wins, effectively coordinating all parties to bring solutions to market. With a direct customer leadership and field team in place, you will engage individuals in joint business customer planning that covers all elements of negotiation. Working in true partnership you will enable the opportunity to drive the presence of branded ranges along with retailer own brand contracted business to achieve financial goals and outcomes. As a member of a newly formed ELT, you will also contribute to the broader business strategy, team design, culture and organisational development.

Experience required

To be successful in securing this role is it essential that you have leadership experience in the FMCG space across Coles and Woolworths in particular. It is also required that you have managed the complexity of a dual portfolio across both private label and branded business in a high growth environment. You will have a passion for unearthing opportunity and driving outcomes as well as an aspiration to build and lead a highly successful and engaged team.
