About the Role

As the Head of Sales of this highly profitable Australian business unit, you will report to the the local MD in the region and lead a geographically dispersed Sales & Service team across every state in Australia in setting and execution of the strategic growth plan for the business for 2022 at beyond. You will bedeveloping strategic channel and customer programs, make actionable recommendations to the leadership team that will ultimately deliver sales and profit results ,gather competitor analysis, identify opportunity gaps within the current product range, and support strategic commercial decisions across the business.

About You

  • You are a degree qualified, hands on strategic senior sales leader with 10+ years experience
  • A background across a technical industry with experience working in a capital equipment style market selling high value products/solutions over a long sales cycle is a must
  • First hand experience of implementing and executing structured and robust sales methadologies that will have your team win in the market over the competition
  • Have vast experience of coaching and develping sales talent at all levels
  • Have a clear track history of success with a clearly defined approach to developing key account and new business development plans
  • Be commercially astute and have experience of structured deal making and contract negotiation
  • Be able to flip between strategic and tactical inititiaves with ease
  • You are nimble, driven and charismatic, and are looking for an exciting space to showcase your ability
