This high profile industry leader was established over 90 years ago and continues to play a critical role across the vast majority of the 5700 community pharmacies across Australia, providing a unique range of services to support the sector to deliver exceptional community health outcomes. As community needs change in our digital world, the sector is increasingly reliant on new, cutting edge solutions designed to improve customer experience which result in better patient outcomes.
Reporting to an inspirational and entrepeneurial CEO, this critical leadership role will lead an established sales team to develop and execute the growth strategy whilst working closely with existing stategic customers such as pharmacy banner groups to enhance customer experience as the business continues investing in new solutions. Building capability within the team to improve national accounts and joint business planning will be another key priority as the business is laser focused on ensuring its value proposition is clear to achieve competitive advantage.
The role will collaborate closely with a range of internal stakeholders (both cross-functionally and coordinating with other business units) to establish product needs in an agile environment to ensure compliance with good governance as the business continues to build out its existing solutions for potential replication into adjacent sectors. Developing the GTM and Customer strategy, identifying customer pain points to feedback into inhouse NPD and innovation initiatives, leading strategic customer business development and maintaining other external relationships such as regulators will all be part of your remit.
Essential to be considered for the role will be proven sales leadership in the pharmacy channel, ideally in a complex business environment where you've had experience managing major pharmacy customers at national level. A strong customer focus, an ability to influence key stakeholders up to C-suite level along with a highly polished communication style are must-haves to be considered.
