About the Role
As a HSE Coordinator, you will report to the HR Business Partner on site where you will be accountable for the health, safety, and environmental program within the business. Your key responsibilities will include updating and improving appropriate HSE and OH&S systems / legislation with a mindset of continuous improvement, return to work management, risk assessments, and contributing to established safety committees.
To be successful in the role, you will work closely with the stakeholders in the business and having a hands-on approach to contribute & create a strong safety culture on site. The environment of the role is highly energetic so the successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and show initiative.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years' experience operating a sound OH&S system ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail coinciding with strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships.
- Ideally qualifications in return to work
- Sound knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to advise and apply statutory obligations in respect to WHS legislation.
