About the role
The current state of play in Australia relating to the coronavirus has put increasing strain of supply chains everywhere, and many of the existing HSE employees of this business are engaged on projects and responding to recent events. This role has been created to ensure day to day support can be offered to those within the business who need support in handling HSE issues that arise. ou would be taking on and responding to HSE questions and queries from internal stakeholders, typically Managers and above, primarly in the manufacturing operations, supply chain and distribution functions but potentially including corporate as well. You will need to identify the approprate resolutions and internal processes that need to be followed, and to support those Managers in doing so with further advice.
We're looking for someone with a background in manufacturing, and an understanding of HSE practices. We are ideally looking for an HSE person, but would consider someone from manufacturing operations, engineering etc
- Relevant background in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of HSE as it relates to manufacturing and supply chain operations
- Background working for larger businesses with well developed systems and processes would be preferred
- Ability to think on your feet, identify the correct course of action with sometimes limited information, be responsive and supportive
The world is in a pretty crazy place at the moment - the job market is being heavily impacted as are all facets of life. If you're looking for a job, I'm sure this is not news to you.
