This is a large ASX listed R&D driven manufacturing business operating state of the art highly automated and fast paced production sites. At their Melbourne based site they have announced the release of capital expenditure for the establishment of a new brownfield production area.

About the role

As an Instrumentation Project Engineer you will deliver the major packages of instrumentation project work typically associated with process manufacturing plants (sensors and instruments for process lines and utilities plants). You will deliver these individual packages of work as part of a large multidisciplinary team, working closely with contractors and suppliers as well as directing and supervising trades.

About you

We're seeking an engineer with instrumentation experience in manufacturing capital projects:

  • Relevant engineering degree (likely electrical or mechatronic)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering instrumentation components of capital projects
  • Manufacturing background, ideally within a liquid processing industry (food, beverage, chemical, dairy, chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical etc)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and commercial acumen
