Our client is one of Australia's leading FMCG exporters who encompass an impressive portfolio of some of Australia's most iconic food brands. Having seen significant growth year on year, they now require an experienced International Brand Manager to help them in the execution of their global strategy.

About the role

Reporting to the International Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for leading the global execution of the annual brand strategy and is accountable to deliver growth and profit goals across a portfolio of brands. In particular you will take ownership of product commercialisation from concept development to market launch plans, for global NPD projects and product changes to meet specific market needs. You will also be responsible for development and implementation of global retail and food service marketing initiatives, ATL communication, product launches, in-store programs and unlocking additional brand opportunities.


  • Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy internationally
  • Lead global NPD commercialisation and local market product changes from concept to launch, with full responsibility for stage-gate process
  • Development of global NPD pipeline that is built from a deep understanding of consumers and food service end users across 5 key regions
  • Develop global product launch plans that are localised and rolled out to multiple overseas markets
  • Develop ATL marketing campaigns, digital campaigns or activation plans to drive brand image and positioning globally
  • Adhere to export guidelines and regional nuances
  • Work extensively with international distributors to align the brand message globally
  • Understand market dynamics and trends
  • Manage international regulation compliance

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field e.g. Marketing, Commerce or Business
  • International and/or export experience essential in a similar role within FMCG, in addition to experience in distributor network management
  • Strong experience across NPD development and marketing communications
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills
  • Exceptional project and budget management experience
  • Experience in dealing with different cultures across multiple markets
