About the business

My client is a global leader in the power tool, hand tool and hardware industry who represent high quality branded products throughout the retail & industrial channels. Renowned for their innovation, customer focus and consumer loyalty, they are envied by their competitors due to being at the forefront of the industry.

Their Australian head office is based locally in Melbourne, and they pride themselves on their focus on career development, succession planning and progression within the business. As a result of this, we are now looking for 3x Junior Sales Representatives to join the team.

About the roles

These entry level roles will be reporting directly to the Regional Manager for Victoria & South Australia, whilst having a dotted line to other senior customer leaders in the business. You will receive a detailed induction into the business, learning about their product range and general company information, before you get stuck into your customer focused sales role.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing a designated territory in metro Melbourne, which would consist of retail customers such as Bunnings, Total Tools & Independents. You will be tasked with managing merchandise / stock in store, selling in new product lines, providing product training / education as well as identifying new opportunities for business.

Skills & experience

We are looking to hear graduates in either Business, Marketing or related fields, who have a genuine interest in progress their sales, business or marketing career with a global leader, or junior sales reps / territory managers. Your enthusiastic, passionate and driven energy will be infectious, and you will pride yourself on strong work ethics. Prior sales experience in a retail capacity (hospitality etc) or internships would be advantageous.

Please note: Our initial screening process will take place until June 14th. Successful candidates will need to be available on Wednesday June 19th an Assessment Centre day, for a July / August 2019 start with the business.
