About the organisation

Our client is a leading Metering Provider and Metering Data Provider, providing metering services to retailers for their electricity and hot water consumers in the utilities industry. Across ANZ they have over 1,000,000 meters under management and are implementing a program of large-scale deployment of digital meters throughout the National Electricity Market. As part of this activity, they have over 4,000 customer site visits every week and are in hyper growth mode across the region.

About the role

The Key Account Director role is responsible for working closely with sales, business development and operational customer delivery teams to ensure delivery of booked meter installations (contracted volumes) as well as increasing sales to existing customers. This is achieved through the provision of top-quality technical service before and after sales and contributing to ensuring customer satisfaction and strengthening customer relationships with the assigned key client portfolio of major national retail energy organisations.

  • Outstanding personal communication and writing skills that build close working partnerships
  • Extensive contract management experience
  • Able to engage at C Suite level
  • Exceptional problem-solving capability
  • Commercially savvy and astute
  • Operational roll out experience
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Ability to understand and use the organisation structure to maximise delivery for customers.
