In Australia they have offices in Melbourne and Brisbane, and the business continues to make strides in the local market and currently holds number one brands within the baking and frozen goods categories. With strong growth targets, my client is focused on building a focused, dynamic, high-performance sales team.

About the role
Working with a portfolio of categories, brands and customers this role will be fundamental in ensuring that category and commercial strategies are implemented with excellence. This role will report to the National Account Manager (independents) and will be responsible for supporting the development and management of the independent's grocery business. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing annual plans with select independent banner groups, managing 3rd party field sales partner relationships and proving support to the wider sales function sales analysis and administrative tasks.

Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from field or head office-based experience within FMCG and experience within the independent network will be highly regarded. Exposure to negotiations, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship management as well as experience with IRI, Quantium or Nielsen will be required. You will also be an optimistic team player who embraces a challenge.
