My client is a family owned Australian business who specialise in high quality stockfeed / pet food. They boast a portfolio of branded products that are found in most pet retailers, and also have a strong following of farmers found across Australia. Their head office is based in Melbourne and they have regional manufacturing sites in Victoria, however they boast a flexible working environment which will continue into 2021.
About the role
Reporting to the Business Manager, this role will be responsible for managing key customer relationships in Victoria, specifically pet retailers (PetBarn, Petstock etc) whilst also managing a range of independents, both metro & regionally based. Working closely with buyers and/or direct owners, you will manage all stock, inventory and customer plans, including all financial reporting and instore product training and education.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated sales experience specifically within either the pet, agriculture and / or farming industry. Or, you could even have sales experience from another industry, but have grown up surrounded by the agricultural world, so you can talk the talk! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong financial and commercial acumen, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of animals to work for a supportive family business.
