My client is a leading FMCG business who supply delicious fresh and frozen produce throughout the Australian grocery channel. Locally based in Melbourne and with sites just on the outskirts, they pride themselves on the consistent and quality products that have a renowned consumer following, and have so for years. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking for a Key Account Manager based in Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for managing Coles and Aldi, whilst also supporting the Woolworths National Account Manager. This hybrid customer focused role will see you manage the full customer relationship, including range reviews, promotions, forecasting, driving new business, and business planning, whilst also managing quality and products reports from business to retailers. Being a local manufacturer, you will also be exposed to end to end product development and spend time onsite to understand the product lifecycle in order to drive growth.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated National Account Executive or Key Account Management experience from within the FMCG industry, ideally within the corporate grocery channel. This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to take the next step in customer ownership, so a high level of commercial and financial acumen in a non-negotiable. An ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment is key, as is a passion for working within a large team environment.
