As a result of continued growth, there is now a newly created opportunity for a Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager based in Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities within Hotel groups across Melbourne. Working also with existing customers, you will be required to sell in new products and educate stakeholders accordingly, conduct regular sales analysis to develop business plans and ensure customers are always satisfied with products and service. You will also be involved in negotiating contracts and pricing for new business opportunities.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from business development and / or key account management experience from within the FMCG, retail, consumer goods or food service industry. You will possess exceptional negotiation and communication skills, accompanied with a passion for working in a team environment. Strong financial acumen is required, accompanied with an ability to build rapport quickly.
