As the result of growth, an opportunity has become available for a Key Account Manager based in Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will be responsible for managing specialist Paint retailers around Australia, such as Paint Place and Paint Inspiration. This newly aligned role will be tasked with be tasked with developing paint specific customer plans, including negotiating pricing, promotions and activating merchandise initiatives. As a result of this role partnering with Independent store owners, this role will require someone to spend time in the field to further understand business needs, challenges and opportunities. Business development will also be a key aspect of this role, across both new and existing accounts.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a State Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Field Manager or Senior Sales Representative from within the hardware industry, paint experience preferred. An enthusiastic and driven work ethic will see you succeed in this role, as well as an understanding of field operations and customer planning. Strong analytical skills, including excel skills, is a non-negotiable.
