About the role
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Key Account Manager will predominantly focus on managing independent specialists and some Bunnings stores for the leisure category across both SA & VIC. Your role is to drive distribution and optimise the range within your key customers where you will develop commercial relationships in order to increase sales. You will be across all competitor activity and market / customer trends which will form part of your promotion & pricing strategy, and you will manage stock orders for key customers. This role is also required to collaborate with the wider sales & marketing team on state forecasting and business planning.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated sales experience either in the field or at KAM level, and we are open to industry! You could have experience from within FMCG, consumer, retail or hardware, but most importantly you will possess behaviours that include the ability to take initiative, strong commercial capability and financial acumen, as well as exceptional communication skills where you can interact with stakeholders of varying levels.
