A Leading FMCG company, representing iconic brands, require an experienced Load Planner to assist in the team for up to 6 months.
About the Role
- Manage 'day to day' transport operational activities and decision making
- Download customer orders and book transport with 3PL's
- Build loads to optimise weight and cost efficiencies
- Respond to transport enquiries relating to ETA's, POD's
- Communicate with Customer Service to advise on transport issues, delays etc.
- Experience using SAP
- Customer Focus- Identifying requirements and ensuring service at all times
- Experience in working with new customers and developing relationships quickly
- Proactive and collaborative approach
