HSK Ward are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team.

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will have the key responsibility to manage site maintenance activities including production equipment reliability and site facilities. They will be responsible for organising the work within their team, as well as driving a way of working and culture within their team which allows them to form a seamless part of the broader manufacturing team. It is imperative this person can lead their team from the front and show a willingness to roll up their sleeves (be hands on) when required and work alongside the maintenance team, assisting with problem solving and designing the most effective solutions.

The right candidate will build strong relationships with the team and cross functionally across the site. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for maintenance processes and planning including preventative maintenance, developing maintenance budgets, and managing costs.

This role will also be a critical member of the manufacturing leadership team - contributing to the discussion on operational/production performance today and what is required for the plant to be future ready.

Skills & experiences

This is an exciting and integral role within the business and your experience and skill set will include the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification - Engineering Degree, trade qualification, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated leadership within a maintenance environment, must be able to proactively lead a team and be heavily involved each members development.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and continuous improvement project delivery experience.
  • Ability to develop budgets and manage costs.
  • Change management experience.
  • Strong people-oriented leader with the ability to build engagement.
