About the role
As the Maintenance Manager, you are accountable for the leadership of the maintenance trades group and delivery of the factory reliability strategy. The role includes direct responsibility for all site and factory equipment performance ensuring efficiency and reliability whilst mitigating unplanned downtime and plant failure. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will provide leadership relating to plant improvements including new equipment selection or modifications, process improvement opportunities and ensuring a safety and quality focused workplace is maintained. With direct accountability for R&M budget including labour and spares, you will manage costs ensuring they remain in line with budgeted targets.
Skills & Experience
This role will ideally suit an experienced Maintenance Manager with highly developed leadership skills and sound commercial understanding of food manufacturing. Likely to be trade or degree qualified in a mechanical or electrical discipline, you will bring a strong technical skill set with the ability to lead problem solving initiatives and develop plant improvement projects from concept to delivery. To be successful, you will be a confident communicator providing the team with clear expectations on acceptable performance levels and opportunities for improvement.
