About the Role
This newly created role is responsible for developing and delivering an enterprise-wide integrated go-to-market plan which will lead to improved commercial results, and above all; an outstanding customer experience. This highly visible role will be a critical interface across business units at the most senior levels, with segment and channel peers, as well as intersecting with external suppliers and agency partners. You will develop a robust methodology, secure internal buy-in, and then execute this to shape how the business creates a model around prioritisation, trade-offs, efficiency identification and optimisation of outputs across all marketing activity. Introducing this newfound rigour will allow the business to have a single view around marketing activities across the month / quarter / year, and will lead to improved trackability of performance.
Skills and Experience
You are a degree qualified, digitally savvy senior marketer with 10+ years experience in a marketing planning role within a large, complex matrix environment - ideally within utilities, telecommunications or services. You have proven yourself in developing marketing planning frameworks and operating rhythms for large organisations, and ongoing identification of marketing efficiencies.
With outstanding stakeholder management experience, you have a track record in introducing new ways of working, securing internal buy-in and delivering results in challenging, fast paced environments. As a capable, yet humble leader, you will support the development of a marketing "centre of excellence" and lift the marketing capability in the development, delivery and implementation of strategic marketing programs.
You have a curious mind and can effectively join the dots to identify new opportunities, challenge stakeholders and ultimately drive commercial results. You will thrive in an agile and ambiguous environment, are self driven and are a natural born leader and mentor.
