Marketing Analytics Lead

Our client is a global FMCG company with well-known brands. They are currently looking for a Marketing Analytics Lead to join their high performing marketing team. You will be responsible for generating insights for their leading ANZ brands as well as maintaining platforms, systems, and integrations within their respective tech stacks. You will use your analytical skills to provide insights to help their digital, ebussiness and brands in achieving their business outcomes.

This role is reporting directly to the Head of Digital and you will also be working closely with cross functional teams and external stakeholders. You will join the team on an open-ended contract with likelihood to go permanent.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide interpretation on the website acquisition and behavioural data on Google Analytics
  • Conducting a complex analysis for marketing campaigns and produce insights on customer behaviour and measures on the outcomes of media conversion
  • Working closely with brands and digital brand managers to help analyse marketing campaign data
  • Suggest and execute best practice website tracking goals and funnels to optimise digital ecosystems
  • Advise digital and marketing teams on advertising strategies data across channels
  • Document and manage tagging demand and development communication through JIRA and Confluence
  • Experiment tests and develop strategies to improve and to end conversion throughout the funnel
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to improve traffic to websites, time spent on websites, conversion of leads and sales
  • Establish experiments to collect data and draw conclusions that can be used to drive positive business outcome
  • Writing scripts and pulling data from multiple platforms
  • Setting up platform integrations and data pipelines to enable improved data availability, portability and utility for various teams
  • Optimise BI dashboards to show real-time digital results and build brand campaign reports in collaboration with in-house and agency partner
  • Develop and implement ways for brands and beyond-marketing teams to automate meaningful data analytics for insight to action

About you:

  • Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Marketing or similar
  • 5+ years of experience within digital marketing and advanced data analytics
  • Experience with digital analytical tools such as GA/GA360/Adobe Analytics, GTM/Tealium and other digital marketing tools specific to media and ad serving
  • Working experiences within regulated industries would be beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of the technology and algorithms behind ad network/ platforms and optimisation
  • Excellent understanding of media fundamentals and industry knowledge
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to details and accuracy
  • Great communication skills both written and orally in
  • Ability to manage various stakeholders and poses excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge with BigQuery and/or with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc) is nice to have
