Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the entire marketing strategy both offline and online. You will be responsible for managing the traditional marketing functions, with a strong focus on formulating and implementing digital marketing strategy across their business along with other key pillars being PR, CRM and Creative.

About the role:

  • Working with the MD to develop marketing strategies and appropriate budgets
  • Formulate and manage all creative online content for the business and new projects
  • Implement and execute a seasonally-based marketing and promotional calendar developing a long-term brand strategy
  • Coordinate, implement and drive the seasonal advertising campaigns
  • Proactively manage the marketing mix across multiple channels, with a strong focus on Digital
  • Effectively manage relationships with external Web partners
  • Accountable for creative execution and ensuring brand consistency of the highest quality
  • Manage the marketing budget to ensure accurate tracking and optimal return on investment
  • Work with broader leadership team to drive sales, build brand, deliver customer satisfaction and achieve business targets
  • Implement best practice ecommerce marketing strategy and associated processes
  • Manage the marketing budget to ensure accurate tracking and optimal return on investment
  • Lead a team of two high performing and engaged marketing professionals by providing clarity, guidance, mentorship and day-to-day direction
  • Support Product launches with timely and effective messaging and communications including event creation, management and execution
  • Carrying out regular competitor analysis and brand positioning
  • Champion and formulate all social media strategy
  • Regular research, monitoring, ongoing management and analysis of social media and digital environments
  • Develop all SEO/SEM strategy
  • Oversee the creation of all copy writing for marketing, advertisements, social and other relevant material

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Digital Marketing and eCommerce.
  • Proven experience driving strategy for small to mid-size businesses within the retails sector
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands on execution and tactical capability
  • Strong analysis skills to drive innovative solutions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator)
  • Ability to work within a creative retail environment, managing multiple conflicting priorities
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills


You will be a commercially and analytically minded as well as being a creative individual whom is passionate about the retail space. You will be proactive, ambitious with a can-do attitude and consider your communication and relationship building skills to be your key strengths. You will be able to work autonomously as well as effectively within a small team environment.
