About the company

Our client is a high-end Danish design brands' distributor and retailer with exclusivity in a number of markets. With offices in Denmark, Singapore and Australia, the business is growing the ANZ division substantially over the coming months both from a wholesale and retail perspective, along with the launch of new brands.

About the role

Our client is looking for a motivated, innovative marketing leader to drive the 360 marketing strategy across both wholesale and retail within ANZ. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about growing with the company and is highly autonomous in a dynamic, agile team environment. Reporting into the Head of Market ANZ, with a dotted line into the Head of Marketing in Singapore, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for maximising brand opportunities across various online and offline channels across the business's distribution network. While there are currently no direct reports.

Our client owns a number of retail stores in ANZ. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the retail team to contribute to the growth and overall footprint of these retail stores and their overarching brand across ANZ. With exciting expansion plans well underway, the Marketing Manager will also have the opportunity to take on new brands and successfully launch into the ANZ market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in synergy with the global marketing team via the Singapore head office, while providing support to the local AU Retail and Commercial teams
  • Development and execution of the overarching marketing plans, events and campaigns (online and offline) across multiple brands and retail networks
  • Provide channel marketing support to the commercial team and its retail partners
  • Alignment of marketing budget planning and forecasts across the internal commercial and marketing teams
  • A good understanding of the brands' global guidelines and corporate identities, implementing them effectively across the distribution network
  • Build strong rapport with local vendors, partners and retail/mall management for successful local activations (e.g. product launches, events, pop-up and VM opportunities etc)
  • Identify potential strategic partnerships for cross marketing opportunities
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Strategist in the management, development and optimisation of key brands and their presence on social media, digital and e-commerce platforms

Skills and Experiences

· 4+ years omnichannel, TTL marketing experience in retail and/or wholesale

· Strong marketing fundamentals - social media, EDMs, PR, Influencer management, Google Analytics, AdWords, website management etc.

· Proven experience successfully driving brand awareness

· Experience launching a new brands/retail business into a new market, ideal but not essential

· Highly motivated, entrepreneurial

· Keeps on top of global trends and able to identify new opportunities

· Experience in event management and/or trade show management

· Successfully led the marketing strategy through to execution

· Highly collaborative, a team player with great influencing skills

· Ability to think strategically and optimise tactical marketing opportunities

· Willingness to roll your sleeves up and get the job done

· A keen eye for design and premium brands
