This business is a well-recognised, global organisation operating in the B2B space with a strong legacy of innovative technology product solutions. Recent acquisitions have seen the business diversify and enter the exciting market of Video Tech and AI. They are now looking for a strategic Marketing Manager to work with their Direct Enterprise customer base.
About the role
This is a key role in the broader Marketing team that will see you working closely with a sophisticated client base that requires a high-touch, consultative approach. Working hand in hand with the strategic Enterprise sales team, you will develop and oversee marketing strategy and programmes to grow vertical markets and accounts. As a core extension to the sales team you will work across the entire sales journey, delivering account-based customer marketing, collaborating on an account's need - including digital and face to face interactions (events, conferences, demos, webinars etc). You will leverage CRM platforms, understanding the customer journey and flow of information, ensuring campaigns are personalised and relevant, using data and insights to implement, measure and optimise campaigns through the sales funnel effectively.
With a strong background in account-based marketing, you must have a proven track record in working with large, complex accounts and partnering effectively with Sales to deliver common goals. With the business shifting into the software space, experience in SaaS or Cloud will be highly beneficial. You will have a solid background in events and customer engagement initiatives and can clearly demonstrate where you've taken a creative approach, adding value to sales and to the business. You understand the importance of ROMI and consider data and analytics as a key part of your toolkit. This role has a customer facing element, therefore it's critical you have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
