About the Role
As the Marketing Manager for a well-known global consumer brand, this role is responsible for embedding a robust market strategy while having a laser-like focus on commercial returns. Despite currently enjoying the position of #1 market share, this category is becoming increasingly competitive and as such, you will need to elevate the strategic marketing activity to deliver sustained growth. You will lead and develop the strategic go-to-market activity to deliver targeted acquisition and lead nurture programs across three distinct channels. This role will see you navigate through the NDIS changes, and identifying new consumer-focused channels to market; as well as leading bids and tenders for additional Government supply contracts. You will be in the driver's seat when it comes to developing the local NPD program through a stage gate process, and will have the benefit of leveraging a world class global NPD team. Aside from being a technically sound marketer, you will also be effective in delivering a cultural shift across all levels of the business to introduce best in class marketing innovation. You will set in place the strong foundations of a marketing strategy which capitalize on the existing assets of the business while looking for new ways to improve the customer experience.
You are a degree qualified, savvy senior marketing leader with 7+ years experience across the B2B landscape. With deep experience in launching go-to-market plans and developing new propositions, you have multi-channel experience and love utilising customer insights to drive strategic outcomes. You will deliver the product category roadmap to manage the product innovation lifecycle, and understand how to assess the global innovation pipeline for local market purposes. You have experience with a range of stakeholders including Government, distributors, providers and internal NPD teams. Crucially, you are empathetic, and truly take the time to get a deep understanding of your end user and their needs. You are nimble, driven and charismatic, highly commercial, and looking for the next opportunity to deliver exceptional results. Experience across healthcare, pharmaceutical or hospitals is strongly preferred.
