Our client is an exciting and disruptive start up business in the innovation space, working with multiple multinational FMCG, retail and tech clients to support with the launch of new products, innovation pipeline development, workshops and implementing new ways of working structured around design thinking to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers within their target markets, as well as the potential threat of new players to the category.
Due to ongoing growth and increased demand from market, the team are looking for a Marketing and Innovation Specialist to join their team.
About the role
This role will see you take the lead in brand development to build awareness in market including developing marketing collateral, assets, content and work on key projects and a website upgrade. Other key tasks will include supporting the preparation of client pitches and client projects, development of marketing materials and social media content.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the Founder, being client facing and supporting on innovation projects for key multinational brands across FMCG and beyond, including development of innovation platforms, pipelines and process. This is a 'bit of everything' type of role, helping front and back-of-house, on client projects and behind the scenes in the consultancy.
This role will be best suited to a highly organised, dynamic, entrepreneurial and driven candidate with a strong passion for innovation and disruption. You'll gain great exposure to multinational FMCG, retail and tech organisations as well as be a part of a vibrant and super energetic team looking to drive a new way of thinking and approach to innovation.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in relevant space eg. Marketing, Business or Commerce
- Prior experience within a Marketing Coordinator / Specialist role with experience in developing content and collateral for both online and offline channels
- A keen interest in innovation and disruptive ways of working with a desire to challenge the status quo
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), stakeholder management and relationship building skills

You will be adaptable in your nature and have strong problem solving and project management skill, you will be able to manage multiple conflicting priorities whilst maintaining good attention to detail and a high quality of work.
