About the Role
First things first. This role is NOT for you if you're looking for a "business as usual" / maintenance type marketing role. Our client is looking for a driven generalist marketer with a blend of strong digital experience, a track record in brand and communications fields, and working knowledge of successful event delivery. They will own and deliver a social media strategy, work closely with the growing Sales team to support with sales enablement resources, identify and realise sponsorship / partnership opportunities, and manage customer communications. You will be challenged in this role, and be expected to challenge others. Working in a fast paced environment, this business has rigour around how performance is measured on an ongoing basis.
Skills and Experience
You are a degree qualified, savvy generalist marketer who has demonstrated learning agility, the ability to roll up your sleeves, and work autonomously. Experience in B2B, software or a free-trial product environment would be highly advantageous. Ideally, you do not have a "typically corporate" background and can demonstrate your resourcefulness in delivering commercial outcomes in challenging scenarios. You are driven and charismatic, highly commercial, and looking for an exciting and fast paced environment to showcase your ability. You will thrive in an agile environment, are self driven and love a challenge.
