They have a bright & modern head office based in Melbourne, and as a result of movement, there is now an opportunity in their sales team.
About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this hybrid role will be responsible for managing Metcash, & Independent Hardware customers, where you will develop and execute joint business plans, manage trading term agreements, range management & optimisation and category planning. You will also utilise insights to drive new business opportunities and deliver best in class retail strategies at both a national and state level.
This role will also have responsibility for the field team of 14 across Independent Grocery & Hardware. You will drive process and quality with your team, ensuring resources are used to optimise in-store opportunity, accompanied with driving best practice store engagement.
Skills & experience
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience managing Metcash at a national or senior state level, accompanied with leadership experience at a field level. Ideally degree qualified, you will posses exceptional leadership and coaching capabilities, accompanied with a high level of commercial & financial acumen. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and team orientated environment.
