My client is an Australian food business representing leading food & beverage brands found throughout the grocery channel. With a focus on quality and healthy living, they are renowned for living their company values and giving back to their employees. They invest significantly in new product development and innovation, and now as a result of growth, they are looking for a National Account Executive for the Woolworths team in Melbourne.

About the role

Reporting directly the National Business Manager, this newly create role will be responsible for managing a food based category within Woolworths. You will be tasked with creating and driving the 3-year sales plan for the grocery channel, developing and implementing strategic promotional plans, category development initiatives and being a key leader of the senior leadership team. You will also work collaboratively with the marketing and production team to drive innovation pipeline and presentations at tradeshows throughout the year, accompanied with driving key company values throughout the wider business.

Skills & experience

Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either an Account Executive / Coordinator, Category Analyst or Key Account Manager from within the FMCG industry. You will possess strong commercial and financial acumen and be able to demonstrate key negotiation, influencing and leadership skills. A creative and collaborative way of working will see you succeed in this role, as well as a passion for innovation.
