Operating across nearly all retail channels in Australia, their presence within the liquor space- both on & off premise is poised for significant growth due to the recent addition of several global premium brands to their portfolio. About the role
Reporting to the National Business Manager - Liquor, this role will have responsibility for major key customers in the liquor space - primarily retail, but with the opportunity to also work across major on-premise customers. With a strong portfolio already in existence within the channel, there is a significant opportunity to grow and develop further brands, categories and customers with the newly acquired brands. This role will also lead 2 direct reports at the Territory Manager level. Due to the anticipated growth of the channel for our client, this will be seen as a high profile role within their structure and will see the successful candidate working across the entire business structure to build positive relationships- supply chain, marketing, finance, category, etc.
Skills & Experience
Our client is seeking an individual who has experience working with retailers specifically within the liquor industry. Additional experience in On-Premise will be highly regarded but not essential. You have ideally built a career to date in major account management, with some cross functional experience (i.e. category, brand experience). Exceptional influencing, negotiation and commercial acumen is required as well as the opportunity to lead and mentor others towards successful outcomes. Most importantly, you possess an inner drive to achieve and enjoy working within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment to deliver results for yourself and others.
